Chairman Lee: Cobb County is the place to do business

 

Cobb County Chairman Tim Lee recently spoke to a group of 600 business and community leaders for the 2014 State of the County Address where he declared, "Cobb County is the place to do business."  He spoke of the strong business climate and many successes of 2013.  Atlanta Braves to the expansion of Randstad staffing and Arylessence. Lee mentioned the 16 additional business announcements that brought 1,087 new jobs and $41 million of investment to Cobb in 2013. Lee mentioned that Cobb remains one of only 39 counties in the US with a triple-A rating by all three credit-rating agencies for the 17th year. Lee rallied attendees stating, "We have well-positioned ourselves to achieve the long-term goals of increasing jobs, increasing investments and constructing a progressive economic impact for Cobb County."
